Booktalks and Tours

A librarian is available for tours of Ida Rupp Public Library.  Book talks are also available at the library or at your facility.  Call youth services to request these services. 

 

Educator Materials Request Form

Are you looking for books and DVDs on a specific topic for use in your classroom?  Fill out an Educator Materials Request Form and fax it or return it to the library.  We will locate and gather the materials you request and contact you when they are available.

INFOhio Early Learning Portal  For parents and educators of children ages three through five. To prepare Ohio’s early learners for school and their future, INFOhio encourages adults to use the digital resources with children, providing guidance and support.

Through a Child's Eyes  Lessons incorporating art work found at the Cincinnati Museum of Art.

COSI-Center of Science and Industry  Explore these online activities for fun, fun, fun.

First Ladies of the White House  Lesson plans about the first ladies by grade level and standards.

The Learning Network  The Learning Network provides teaching and learning materials and ideas based on New York Times content.  Teachers can use or adapt our lessons across subject areas and levels. Students can respond to our opinion questions, take our news quizzes, learn the word of the day, try our test yourself questions, complete a fill-in or read our poetry pairings.

Learning Express Library  The resources here can help students in elementary, middle, and high school prepare for important tests, get extra help with assignments, and boost their skills in important subjects.  (Erie Islands Library click here)
