Current Operating Procedures 

These protocols may change as conditions warrant to ensure the safety of our community and staff.

 

Health and Safety Precautions

What we’re doing to protect our patrons:

• Offering contactless holds pickup.

• Maintaining 6 feet of distance between each other.

• Unvaccinated individuals are asked to wearing face coverings while inside the library.

• Following cleaning and disinfecting protocols put out by the CDC.

• Quarantining returned materials for 24 hours.

• Limiting the number of patrons permitted in the building at a time.

• Removing seating in the library.

• Room reservations are cancelled until June 2, 2021.

• Toys, puppets and other non-circulating items have been removed from the library.

What we're asking you to do:

• Do not enter the library if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness or breath, or are feeling unwell.

• Keep your hands clean.

• Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others.

• Wear a face covering while inside the library in not vaccinated. 

• Follow all directional signs and floor markings.

• Return any library materials to a drop box, rather than placing on any counter, or handing to staff.

 

Limited Computer Use

Computers have been spaced apart and will be disinfected between each use.  Please visit the front desk to reserve a computer. Computer sessions will be limited to one hour a day.  One-on-one computer assistance will not be offered at this time.
